Is Steve Rothman Hiding in the Obama Congressional Protection Program?

Where in the world is Congressman Steve Rothman? He's been ducking the questions on the big issues and now he's ducking the voters of District 9 three weeks before the election. He left Washington without voting on a budget, without voting on appropriations, and without voting on the Bush era tax cuts. "I think he must be hiding in the Obama Congressional protection program somewhere outside of District 9", said Susan Jester, Campaign Manager.

"We haven't hear from him on any of the pressing issues facing Congress since his Town Hall Obama defense tour this past summer", said Jester. The U.S. economy continues to lose jobs and the unemployment rate continues to remain steady and where in the world is Steve Rothman? "He ran out of town as fast as he could go", said Michael Agosta, Republican Congressional candidate for District 9. "I think it was a very cowardly act to leave Washington without voting on the tax issues that are giving our small business' such uncertainty."

"After 14 years in Congress, I guess he is either so out of touch with the people that he doesn't realize how his rubber stamping of the Obama radical agenda has hurt all the working families of our district or he is afraid to come out and defend the job killing policies and his complicity in the Obama/Pelosi agenda", said Agosta.
